Philanthropic gifts ensure that we can continue to provide the best facilities, scientists and technologies – and therefore the best instruction for our students and the best care for patients in our state, region and beyond. Although MUSC is a state institution, we receive less than 5 percent of our funding from state resources. Private gifts help fill that gap, ensuring our continued excellence.
